Songs &
Regrets

Original recordings, made with gear worth more than most used cars. The amps were incredible. The playing was ... enthusiastic. Recorded using Marshalls, Les Pauls, Fenders, SPL transducers, Logic and Garageband — because no amount of software fixes what the fingers refuse to do. All songs © Hermann Heimhardt. Please be kind.

Too Much
Gear

Electric Guitar
Fender Custom Shop 60s Stratocaster — Sunburst
Heavy relic. Alder body, Fat "C" maple neck, rosewood board. 3× Custom Shop FAT 50's pickups. Sounds like Hendrix through a Plexi.
For Sale — 2,300 €
Electric Guitar
Fender Custom Shop 60s Stratocaster — Olympic White
Because one Custom Shop Strat was clearly not enough. Two is a collection. Three would have been a disorder. Teambuilt — unlike the solos played on it.
For Sale — 2,500 €
Electric Guitar
Fender American Strat — Alpine White
18 years of honest play-wear. Got replaced by the Custom Shop because apparently I needed a guitar worth three months of rent to still miss the bends.
Sold
Electric Guitar
Gibson Les Paul Standard — Heritage Cherry
Does everything from clean jazz to heavy metal. I mostly played slightly-too-loud blues riffs in the living room at 11pm. Now sold to someone who hopefully uses it better.
Sold
Amp Head
Marshall 6100 30th Anniversary
A 100-watt all-tube Marshall that has never been on a stage. Never toured. Barely rehearsed. Pristine condition because it spent most of its life making the room look serious.
For Sale — 650 €
Multi-FX / Preamp
Line 6 POD XT Live
84 effects. I used the same three. Purchased to sound like every great guitarist at once — achieved none of them. Like new condition because the presets were already better than my playing.
For Sale — 250 €
Neck
Fender Birdseye Maple Neck
"V" medium profile. 9.5" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets. True abalone dots. Built 2007 — played only 3 hours. 100% frets. Die-cast tuners included.
For Sale — 269 €
Guitar + MIDI
Tenson Strat Clone + Roland GK-3
A budget Strat clone bought specifically to experiment with MIDI guitar. The experiment concluded that MIDI guitar is hard and I already had too many guitars.
For Sale — 150 €
FX Pedals
Line 6 Space Chorus + Roto Machine
Two pedals bought because the tone was "almost there." Spoiler: the tone was never there. The pedals are blameless. Truly excellent — the problem was always upstream.
For Sale — 65 € / 75 €
Multi-FX Rack
TC Electronics G-System
Professional-grade rack unit for serious working musicians. The protective foil was still on the display when it was sold. It never gigged. It never even left the rack case. Rest in peace.

Hermann
Heimhardt

I've been playing guitar since age 13. In that time I've accumulated enough gear to fill a small music shop, developed strong opinions about pickup windings, and written 13 songs — most of which sound best at low volume, in another room, with the door closed.

My approach to tone is obsessive and expensive. I have recorded with Marshall Plexis, the 6100, Fender amps, SPL transducers, and every version of recording software released between 2005 and 2009. The equipment was always excellent. The results were always "almost there."

I have owned guitars that cost more than my first car. I have bought necks and never installed them. I have purchased a TC Electronics G-System so good it still had the protective foil on it when I sold it. At some point the gear stopped being tools and started being a lifestyle. That lifestyle is now partially available for purchase.

Based in Munich, Germany, where the neighbours have shown extraordinary patience. Amps available for testing in my practice room — which is just a room with too many cables and a very understanding family. I answer every email, usually faster than I ever learned to sweep pick.

Let's Talk
Gear.

Want to buy some gear? Talk tone? Reassure me that the recordings are not that bad? All correspondence welcome.
